KOZAYO Policies & House Rules




1. Check-in & Check-out


  • Check-in: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Check-out: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Late Check-in: If you plan to arrive after 10:00 PM, you must contact us in advance for self-check-in instructions. Unannounced late arrivals may be treated as a no-show.
    • Smart Access: After check-in, you will receive a personal QR code for 24/7 entry to the hostel. Please keep it secure.



2. Minor Guest Policy (Guests Under 19)


Guests under the age of 19 are permitted to stay only if the following documents are submitted and approved by KOZAYO prior to check-in:


  1. Minor Accommodation Consent Form (Signed by a parent or legal guardian)
  2. Copy of Parent/Guardian’s Valid ID
  3. Copy of Minor Guest’s Valid ID

Please contact us(kozayo364@naver.com) in advance if you are traveling under the age of 19 with the documents above.



3. Security Deposit & Damage Policy


A refundable KRW 100,000 deposit is required at check-in (via card authorization or cash) and will be released upon check-out after a facility inspection.

  • Bedding & Property Stains: Extra cleaning fees apply if bedding or hostel property is damaged or heavily stained by food, cosmetics, etc,.



4. House Rules for a Peaceful Environment


To keep KOZAYO safe, clean, and comfortable for everyone:

Strictly Prohibited in Rooms: Smoking, alcohol consumption, eating food, or disturbing noise.


  • Intoxication: Guests heavily under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied entry.
  • Eviction Policy: Severe disturbances—such as triggering fire alarms from smoking, pervasive food odors, or property damage while intoxicated—will lead to immediate eviction without a refund of fees or deposit.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed.
  • Valuables: 24-hour CCTV operates in all common areas. However, KOZAYO is not responsible for lost personal items. Please lock up your valuables or ask the front desk for assistance.



5. Reservation & Cancellation


All bookings must be made under the guest's legal name matching their passport/ID.


  • Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made within 5 days of the arrival date will incur a 1-night cancellation fee.
    • Note: Booking platform policies (e.g., Agoda, Booking.com) take precedence over standard terms if booked through third-party sites.
